Indigenous Accelerator Program to Empower Creative Entrepreneurs in North Dakota

DENVER, COLORADO – Creatives Indigenous by Native Max, in collaboration with Strengthen ND, is thrilled to announce the launch of a groundbreaking accelerator program designed specifically for creative Indigenous entrepreneurs in North Dakota. This initiative aims to foster economic empowerment, cultural preservation, and innovation within Native communities across the state.

The Indigenous Accelerator Program is the result of a strategic partnership between Native Max and Strengthen ND, an organization that works across North Dakota to support nonprofits and rural communities through capacity building, planning, and placemaking. The partners share the goal of providing tailored support and resources to Indigenous entrepreneurs in the creative sector. Through mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to capital, the program seeks to cultivate the next generation of Indigenous business leaders and creative entrepreneurs.

“We are incredibly excited to collaborate with Strengthen ND to bring this accelerator program to Native American entrepreneurs in North Dakota,” said Kelly Holmes, CEO of Native Max and lead faculty at Creatives Indigenous. “This initiative reflects our commitment to empowering Indigenous communities and celebrating the rich diversity of Native creativity and entrepreneurship.”

The program will provide participants with:

  • Comprehensive mentorship from industry experts and successful Indigenous entrepreneurs.
  • Access to workshops, seminars, and networking events tailored to the needs of creative entrepreneurs.
  • Opportunities to pitch their business ideas to potential investors and partners.
  • Funding opportunities and resources to support business growth and development.
  • Ongoing support and guidance to help navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship.

Holmes adds, “We believe that by investing in the talent and creativity of Indigenous entrepreneurs, we can create positive change and economic opportunities within Indigenous communities. “This accelerator program represents a significant step towards realizing that vision.”
